Gunter & Regina Triebaumer - Burgenland, Austria

    • Situated one hour south east of Vienna, Weingut Günter Triebaumer is located in the wine region of Neusiedlersee-Hügelland. The special microclimate of this district is characterized by Austria's longest hours ofsunlight, high humidity and moderate temperatures influenced by the large, shallow lake, the Neusiedlersee, which is Western Europe’s largest lake.
    • The winery is located in the village of Rust, which is a medieval wine village that lays claim to making the world’s first botrytis wine in the early 16th century. Because of the shallowness of lake Neusieldersee, the vineyards along the shore have botrytis almost every year. The style of dessert wine is called Ruster Ausbruch. The Triebaumer estate has been making wine since 1691.

    • TRIE White

A blend of 80% unoaked Chardonnay with 20% Yellow Muscat and Muscat Ottonel. On the nose, fresh white flowers, followed by grapefruit zest and Yellow Muscat grapes. Accompanied by juicy pear pulp and a twinkle of lemon. Dry with a creamy acidity and the dense extract of optimal Chardonnay grapes. A finely balanced
blend between hearty power and playful aromas.

    • Trie Red

An blend two Austrian red grapes Zweigelt and St. Laurent with a little Cabernet Sauvignon, TRIE is bursting with cherry and red berry flavors with a slighty spicy finish.  Fermented in stainless steel, this wine has no oaky flavors to interfere with the food.  Perfect with pizza, BBQ, poultry and even seafood dishes.

    • Blaufränkisch

Purple with a dark violet rim. Intensive nose of cherries and black pepper. Stewed sour cherries completed by a hint of vanilla and lilac, spicydense, Sun-warmed dark berries. Dry, vivacious-juicy Blaufränkisch-fruit, very classic style, finely-wound tannin structure, inviting flavours of dark berries and cherries with a zesty-animating finish. Juicy and fiery notes deriving from chalky loam soils.

    • Muscato

This Muscato is produced in the d’Asti method. Light and effervescent, this sparkler is packed with fruit.  Citrus and granny smith apple explode on the palate.
      Refreshing finish!

    • Ruster Ausbruch

Ruster Ausbruch is a special botrytis dessert wine that comes only from the village of Rust. The village has the distinction of having made the first botrytis wine in history over 5oo years ago. This wine is 100% Welschriesling infected with botrytis.  Sparkling golden yellow, rich traces of viscosity on the glass, delicate notes of honey, an aroma as if Welschriesling is directly descended from yellow peaches, underpinned by notes of passion fruit, pineapple and stewed apricot – simply delicious. Noble sweetness combined with a really racy acidity, soft peach skin, fragrant yellow fruit flesh, pear juice, juicy through out.
