Our drive to set up an important project and our love for Villespassans terroir are the main factors at the center of the estate. It was created in 2006, situated on a limestone plateau at 250 meters elevation, and located in the southwest of the appellation. The estate, spread over 9 hectares, is composed of several kinds of grapes such as Syrah, Grenache, Carignan and Cinsault. Plots are localized around the village on red limestone soil and dolomite gravel. These features, allow us to produce harmonious blends. In order to make wines, giving us a full expression of our terroir, we have decided to use only sustainable methods: no chemical weed-killer, we restrict at the minimum phytosanitary treatment and only manual harvest.
A blend of 1/3 Syrah, 1/3 Carignan and 1/3 Grenache. Clay, limestone and gravel soils. Matured 9 months in stainless tanks.
Dark fruits and slightly smokey on the nose with blueberries and a hint of tobacco. On the palate, blackberries, ripe plums and cassis. Full bodied, slightly peppery and spicy on the finish. Perfect for roasted meats.
