    Knipser - Pfalz, Germany

    • The Knipser winery is run by the talented and genial brothers Werner and Volker Knipser in the small village of Laumersheim. 
    • The Knipsers are considered one of the top red wine houses of Germany, excelling with Pinot Noir, Cabernet, Merlot and Syrah. They also produce highly-rated white wines. The Knipsers make excellent dry Rieslings, but also cultivate other varietals, such as Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris, Chardonnay and Gewurztraminer.

    • Chardonnay & Weisburgunder

      70% Chardonnay, 30% Pinot Blanc.  Fermented in stainless steel. Clean, lemony aromas.  Loads of lemon-lime, apple and pear fruit with a crisp, refreshing finish.
    • Laumersheimer Kapellenberg Riesling Kabinett Trocken

      This is a dry Kabinett Riesling that is an amazing value .  The wine shows elegance and plenty of citrus, apple and pear flavors that  carry through the crisp, clean finish.
    • Mandelpfad Riesling Grosses Gewächs (Grand Cru)

      Mandelpfad is one of three grand cru Rieslings produced by Knipser.  The German Grand Cru style is always dry!  This Riesling packs a lot of power.  Citrus, apples and pears and intense minerality dominate.  Finishes long!  13% Alc.
    • Blauer Spätburgunder (Pinot Noir)

      This is the entry-level Pinot Noir from Knipser.  This Pinot Noir packed with fruit and structure. Allspice, forest floor & smokey pinot noir aromas. Bright cherry & cake spice flavors with long, spicy finish. 
    • Bergweg Spätburgunder (Pinot Noir)  A.k.A Im Grossen Garten

      This Pinot Noir delivers plenty of bright red cherry and berry fruit and hints of toasted oak and allspice flavors.
    • Kirchgarten Spätburgunder (Pinot Noir)

      This Pinot Noir is velvety smooth and elegant with bright cherries and subtly minerality on the finish.
